Kicking your dad on Father's Day...

is perfectly acceptable if you haven't been born yet.

My husband felt our baby move for the first time on Father's Day.  You should've seen his face!  He was so exited.  I'm only 19 weeks, and our baby is about 6 inches from head to booty, but little lumpy baby likes to smash his or her little self against the side of my uterus, or wedge his or her little body against my bladder, and take naps there.  Ornery little kid.  Just like the kid's parents, I guess.

Little Kiddle is moving!

I know, nobody else is as exited about this as I am.  But my little baby is moving!  And I can actually feel it!  He/she gets hyper and jumpy when I drink sugary drinks.  The other morning I woke up with a little baby sized lump (kid's supposed to be about 6" tall from head to tushie) to the left of my navel.  The lump seemed to be sleeping, but moved away after a few minutes of poking from my husband and I.  Then during the day "lumpy" travelled down, and swam across to the other side.  So exiting!  It's like saying "hi" to a person I'm not going to meet for another 5 months face to face!

Everybody keeps asking me what I want my baby to be- my standard answer is "human".  Boys are the most amusing creatures alive in my opinion, but girls are so cute!  I dunno. Well, whatever it is, we'll find out in a couple weeks!
